Similar to the TX3600, the TX3820 series is packed with an impressive list of features; the ‘flash’ upgradeable microprocessor and flexible programming guarantees an upgrade path to meet system operators current and future two way radio requirements. The compact modular design of the TX3820 series incorporates a rugged die-cast aluminium chassis to ensure it to can withstand the constant vibration and extreme temperatures common to the Australian environment.
The TX3820U and TX3820V both provide a full 25 watts of RF output power without compromising the size of the radio. The depth of the chassis is a mere 50 mm larger than the TX3600. The integrated die-cast chassis and top cover concept provides highly effective heat dissipation even at prolonged 25 watt operation, so confident is GME in this design that a full two year no quibble warranty is offered on all Australian built mobile two way radios.
